About Elite Line Services

Carrying a lot of baggage, G&T Conveyor gets pushy when it conveys and directs. G&T Conveyor designs and manufactures baggage conveyor belts and automated handling systems that carry, push, sort, and guide luggage for delivery onto planes, airport carousels, and into the hands of travelers. The market leading company has installed baggage handling systems in more than 400 airport projects worldwide. It also makes airport ticket counters. G&T Conveyor is part of the Five Star Airport Alliance, which also includes Elite Line Services, Ameribridge, Star Systems, and The Horsley Co. The Five Star group is owned by private equity fund Brynwood Partners and the group’s senior managers.

If you check your baggage when you travel, you no doubt spend an inordinate amount of time watching G&T Conveyor’s equipment slide by or go around and around. What you don’t see is the behind-the-scenes electrical controls and software, also developed by the company, to operate the conveyor systems.

In 2012 G&T Conveyor fulfilled a contract signed in late 2010 to design and build a remote in-line baggage screening facility for the Orlando International Airport, which is overseen by the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. The detached facility allows passengers to by-pass the check-in process at the airport.

G&T was founded in 1987; its owners formed the Five Star alliance out of G&T and its sister companies in 2006. Through its association with the Five Star Airport Alliance G&T Conveyor builds relationships with industry associations such as Airport Consultants Council (ACC), American Associates of Airport Executives (AAAE), Florida Airports Council (FAC), and the International Association of Baggage System Companies (IABSC).
