General Summary  

The Administrator of Maintenance reports to and is responsible to the Maintenance Control Manager. The AOM must have a working knowledge of all company maintenance manuals as well as FAA regulations and aircraft maintenance manuals. The AOM is responsible for the proper administration of maintenance conducted on assigned managed aircraft. The AOM has a shared responsibility with the company for CFR Part 135 compliance as it pertains to the managed client’s operation and the certificate requirements of the company. 

Responsibilities  

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance tasks 
  • Pre and post flight inspections 
  • Diagnose and repair incoming discrepancies to include Airframe, PowerPlant and Components 
  • Research parts required for repairs and/or inspections 
  • Aircraft run up and Taxi 
  • Ensure aircraft is returned to service per the FAA, company and repair station manuals.

  • The AOM serves as a "single point of contact’ for the company to a Managed Aircraft’s organization for ensuring that organization is properly communicated and instructed in the on-going maintenance events pertaining to the continued maintenance compliance of the organization.

Qualifications (knowledge, skills and abilities "KSA")  

  • Must hold a current, valid Airframe and PowerPlant Certificate 
  • 3-5 years’ experience required 
  • GIV experience required 
  • Familiarity with planning required 
  • Must have experience reading Maintenance Manuals, technical drawings and wiring diagrams 
  • Must be willing to travel, 30% 
  • Must be knowledgeable of FAR’s 
  •
