Illinois Tool Works (ITW) is a Fortune 200 diversified manufacturing company with seven decentralized business segments, which includes the ITW Food Equipment Group. Peerless, one of the businesses within the ITW Food Equipment Group, is seeking an accounting clerk for its Sidney, Ohio facility, located 45 minutes north of the Dayton metropolitan area. 
Job Responsibilities  
  • Prepare accounting transactions 
  •  
  • Coordinate necessary documentation to support the finance team 
  •  
  • Inputs transactions to the unit’s business system 
  •  
  • Generates outputs to complete transactions such as printing AP checks, credit memos, & invoices 
  •  
  • Files accounting transactions per departmental procedures  
  •  
  • Generates and maintains data integrity and confidentiality for reporting 
  •  
  • Any other duties deemed appropriate within the scope of the role and in line with skills and experience 
  •  
  
Job Requirements   Minimum Qualifications  
  • High School Diploma or equivalent 
  •  
  • 3+ years relevant experience 
  •  
  • Attention to detail with accuracy is a must 
  •  
  • Self starter 
  •  
  • Excellent communication and writing skills 
  •  
  • Proficiency in MS Office Software, specifically strong Excel and Power Point skills 
  •
