The Problem Management Service team conducts Root Cause Analysis (RCA) / Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) investigations for Major Incidents and Incidents for Product Systems’ applications to identify improvement opportunities for Information Technology.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Perform RCA/RCCA investigations on IT incidents
  • Perform daily reviews with team of new Major Incidents and status RCAs in work
  • Contribute to collaborating efforts between Production Operations, Enterprise Problem Management, and Business and Supply Chain System’s teams to support a cross-organizational effort to reduce major incidents utilizing common, standard, and best practices
  • Contribute to continual service improvement efforts
  • Lead investigations of production incidents that impact Product Systems’ owned applications
  • Leverage Apollo discipline to objectively identify root cause(s) and solution(s)
  • Utilize established team process to capture results of investigations and provide a formal report out
  • Work with various IT teams to implement identified solutions
  • Track implementation of long term solutions via internal MET tracking tool
  • Support identification of problem trends to proactively prevent future incidents

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Experience conducting a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) or Root Cause Analysis (RCA) associated with a complex technical issue

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Operations (especially Problem and Incident Management)
  • Project Management
  • Process Management
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Technical Degree

Typical Education/Experience: Technical bachelor’s degree and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or a Master’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
