Quality Assurance Administrative Assistant
Set up and maintain all quality department contract and drawing files. Provide information to callers, and otherwise provide clerical, administrative and business detail support department wide.Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Set up and maintain all contract and drawing files.
Update Quality Assurance manuals and procedures.
Compose and type routine correspondence.
Maintain approved vendor list.
Assist customers during audits and inspections.
Notify DCMAO of materials ready for inspection.
Maintain all Quality Department records, such as discrepant material log and corrective action log.
Maintain inventory of documents and supplies.
Review order status in accordance with master schedule.
Create Shipping documents.
Assist in Shipping department and Contract close-outs.
AS9100/ISO Specific Duties
Be familiar with and understand Atec Quality Policy and company objectives.
Understand required Atec International Standards Organization (AS9100/ISO) specific procedures and work instructions.
Complete all work routers and understand the quality requirements for each task..
Complete all quality records required by procedures and work instructions.
Participate in Atec Improvement Machine (AIM) as appropriate.
Participate in AS9100/ISO training as required.
Cooperate with Auditors.
Report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or minimum of 2 years experience in document management systems, or related experience; or combination of education and experience. Computer data entry skills and typing preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, occasionally reach with hands and arms, stoop/kneel to file, and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Noise level in the environment is usually moderate.
Extended work hours may be required.
